
Saxo Capital Markets is a subsidiary of Denmark's Saxo Bank A/S founded in 1992 by Kim Fournais and Lars Seier Christensen. Saxo Bank is now the second largest bank in Denmark. It has thousands of customers worldwide and performs an average of 20 billion transactions per day.
Saxo Capital Markets has been in the UK since March 2006, initially as one of Saxo Bank A/S's branches and as Saxo Capital Markets UK Ltd. since 1 January 2012.
