USD/CHF: Credit Suisse recommends buying dollar vs Swiss franc as its best trading idea of the week

In a note published today, Credit Suisse presents its "trade of the week", buying USD/CHF:

"Others satisfactory statistics should follow after last week's NFP report, which was significantly higher than expected, and we believe that the USD/CHF is a good vehicle to take on the theme of the divergence of monetary policy within the G10.

Later this week, several speeches by Fed members are expected, and our economists expect an increase of +0.4% of US retail sales on Friday, in line with consensus.

We therefore continue to advise buying USD/CHF."
