New record at Plus500: 1600 new clients last Friday

CFD broker Plus500 reported that the company was not significantly affected by the massive volatility around the Brexit event. In its statement filed with the London Stock Exchange, the company said that its risk management system ensures that the overall exposure of a single instrument is unlikely to have a material impact on the financial position of the company.

Revenues for the broker and trading volumes on the Plus500 platform were higher than normal. This last Friday, 17,000 new demo accounts were opened and 1,600 new customers opened a real trading account.

Plus500 also reported that its international clientele is becoming more diversified, customers in the United Kingdom accounted for only 15% of the company's turnover in 2015.
