EUR/USD: BTMU's weekly forecast for this week (16 January)

As it often does, BTMU delivers its weekly forecast for the EUR/USD pair for the week starting 16 January 2017:

"The dollar started the new year down, after taking advantage of Trump's election at the end of last year. However, the president's first speech failed to provide new bullish catalysts for the dollar.

This drop in the USD could continue next week, ahead of Donald Trump's inaugural speech on 20 January.

Next week, the main event will be the meeting of the ECB, which could offer modest support to the euro if Draghi evokes new signs of enhancing growth dynamics.

From a graphic point of view, we have a neutral bias for next week."
