Barclays' favourite trade for this week of 18 December 2017
Barclays shares its forex trading idea for this week of 18 December 2017.
"We recommend buying the USD this week against the GBP, NOK and JPY.
The potential passage of the tax reform this week could support the USD on the forex by Christmas, and the seasonality of this period suggests a rise in the dollar against these currencies."
Barclays therefore recommends selling the GBP/USD and buying the USD/NOK and USD/JPY at the same time.
