"The USD's uptrend remains intact, but the coming weeks contain events that could reverse risk, including the "midterm" elections (6 November).

History, polls, fundraising and slightly low Trump approval rates suggest that the Democrats will take over the House, but fail in the Senate.

The markets will likely record an "as expected" result without consequences, but the risks of seeing a total Democrat victory (negative for the USD), or the Republicans holding onto both chambers cannot be ruled out."
