MetaQuotes adds Forex Source information stream to MT5
MetaQuotes, the creator of MetaTrader platforms 4 and 5, announced last week that it is adding the Forex Source information feed to its MT5 trading platform.
Forex Source provides educational market commentary and info for forex traders. Subscribers receive an analysis and interpretation of current forex events.
The company's news feed is divided into several categories: "Bank Order Levels", "Economic Indicators", "Central Banks", "Risk Events" and "Sentiment".
As part of the deal with MetaQuotes, Forex Source's sentiment feed is now available directly on the MetaTrader 5 trading platform, which includes daily sentiment reports and brief notes on currencies. Stream is one of the most popular features of the app.
In particular, the daily report on driver sentiment explains to traders what news is currently influencing certain currencies and the news that will create the next big trend. Currency sentiment messages, on the other hand, show traders the strongest and weakest currencies of the day, depending on the overall market sentiment.
Commenting on the partnership, the founder of Forex Source says: "The integration of market sentiment into the MetaTrader platform is very exciting for our company as it opens a much wider audience to our educational analysis and helps traders stay on top of market news and helps them understand how to turn this news into profitable trades."
MetaTrader platforms remain a standard among forex brokers. Although MetaTrader 4 remains the dominant platform, adoption of the MetaTrader 5 platform is nevertheless increasing.
