XTB hits the 500,000-trader mark and highlights the strong growth of world markets

Polish broker XTB, announced today that the company passed the 500,000 customer mark in May. XTB reached this milestone after seeing strong demand for its services in various international markets.

With the development of sales and marketing activities in Europe and Latin America, XTB has seen a strong increase in trading activity. The total number of active clients has also jumped considerably since the beginning of the year.

"The increase in the number of traders is the result of intensive sales and marketing activities in Central and Eastern European, Western European and Latin American markets. The development potential is also related to the expansion and development in international markets (the launch last year of the company's branch in Dubai serving the Middle East and North African markets)," the company mentions in the press release.

In recent years, XTB has strengthened its presence in different regions of the world. To meet the growing demand for emerging asset classes, XTB MENA has recently expanded its offering by adding cryptocurrency CFDs.

Q1 2022

The first quarter of the year remained a strong period for XTB. The financial services provider saw a significant spike in its financial metrics due to an increase in active clients.

In the first quarter, it stood at 149.9 thousand compared to 103.9 thousand a year earlier and 111 thousand on average for the whole of 2021. As reported, in the first quarter of 2022, XTB gained 55,250 new clients. Over the whole of 2021, the number of customers has grown from 255,750 to 429,310 thousand," XTB adds.
