Dear traders:

Due to the US banking holiday this coming Monday (President's Day) - trading will be super SLOW! If you're not in the market right now, it would probably be best to not do anything until Tuesday! FYI, president's day is a celebration of George Washington (first president of the USA) and Abraham Lincoln (16th president); you can see their faces on the front of the $1 and $5 bills, respectively!

Also, please make sure to check your broker's website to see what changes in trading hours they may implement.

As an example, here is the mail that FxOpen sent to its traders:

Dear Traders,

Please be aware of the trading schedule changes on the US Presidents' Day (all times are GMT+2):
Monday, February 19

Commodity CFDs:

    Gold (XAUUSD) - trading until 21:30;
    Silver (XAGUSD) - trading until 21:30;
    UK Brent (XBRUSD) - trading until 21:15;
    US Crude (XTIUSD) - trading until 21:15;
    US Natural Gas (XNGUSD) - trading until 21:15.

Index CFDs:

    Japan 225 (#J225) - trading until 20:00;
    US SPX 500 (#SPXm) - trading until 20:00;
    US Tech 100 (#NDXm) - trading until 20:00;
    Wall Street 30 (#WS30m) - trading until 20:00.

Stock CFDs: trading closed.

All other financial markets will be traded as usual.

Please consider this information as you plan your trading and note that the hours above are subject to change.
